This is a very intelligent narration, the information that the characters handle is quite specific and consistent. It is as if you were transmitting technical information that you know very well through the dialogue of the characters. Upvote!
Why, thank you! I may or may not have spent an inordinate amount of time thinking about the details surrounding my fictional technology. I guess it makes sense that such descriptions are one of my stronger areas, given I have to understand and occasionally elaborate abstract systems in my day job.
