Patch up the holes
And get back to the quilted dreams
That we used to know.
Fairytales could never compare
To the magic
That we once shared.
Our skies were made of more
Than black and blue.
Much like the paper planes
That we flew,
Our time together
Consisted of ups and downs
But,
Lord knows
That I was down
For the uprising of our weary hearts.
I know
That it was fucked up on my end
To keep you in the dark
But
I’ve realized
That much like LEGOs,
We’re hardly as effective
When we’re apart.
