We all are trying to get an education to fit inside a box that is already filled by others. Education teaches us that we need the employment of others in order to survive. It doesn't teach us how to stand on our own should the employment of others fail to come. Some of us are still trying to figure out what conventional education failed to teach us many years after leaving the four walls of the university and it has not been easy

The sad reality is that so many people are still believing that education is their key to success. It may be the key in some other countries but in Nigeria, that is no more possible. Education will only give you a paper and place you at the mercy of those that would want to God over you. It is what you learn or decide to know after receiving the paper that education has given you that would determine how high you would climb in life.

Educational is just one step among the hundreds of steps to success. The remaining steps must be figured out by us. And those steps can only be found out outside of the walls of conventional school.

I wish many of us saw something like this years back! We believed so much in going for a professional course, thinking that that is all we need to get our dream job. We only saw the reality after leaving school. It's well!
