RE: A Priori and A Posteriori Knowledge

in #writing6 years ago (edited)

knowledge is often confused with understanding, two completely different things, IBM's Watson supercomputer could win at jeopardy (i often refer to what they do in schools as training "jeopardy-brains" , but i doubt it could compose a Dali or a piece of avant-garde jazz because it doesnt
dig it, lol , there's boundless philosophy between this and that, you could even drag it all the way to having soul (like bootsy collins :p) or buddha nature maybe. Mathematics used to describe the universe perfectly all the way up to Newton, who is, afaik still listed as THE most influential person in human history, above the great teachers of moral-filosofy (or religion if you like) and then came the quantum, now it's all "maybe" :)

knowledge is not absolute and you might hold a library of books in your head but if you cant read between the lines its just a collection of words :))

well, it got my attention there you know where but that section is really intended for re-steemable contests that dont ask to send money or too much hassle, no big deal though i don't "mod"

Well said @rudyardcatling:

The man of knowledge must be able not only to love his enemies but also to hate his friends.
