This will be short. I'm not going to talk about movies, series or some topic of popular interest, this time I don't have something so interesting to recommend (well, actually I do, but that will be for another post), this time I want to talk about something that is happening and that although it is really very insignificant and I don't think it will last more than a week, I'm really liking it.

Esto será corto. No voy a hablar de películas, series o algún tema de interés popular, esta vez no tengo algo tan interesante que recomendar (bueno, de hecho si, pero será para otro post), esta vez quiero hablar sobre algo que está pasando y que aunque es realmente muy insignificante y no creo que vaya a durar más de una semana, me está gustando mucho.

As you know, a few days ago I went to a party where I met non-binary people who talked to me about vogue, ballroom, rave and so on. Beyond that, I met two girls who caught my attention because of how friendly they were with me all night. After following each other on twitter, I sent one of them a message that said "thank you so much for everything yesterday, I had a great time" and there began an endless conversation (since we still talk almost all day) about music and so on.

Como saben, hace unos días fui a una fiesta dónde conocí a personas no binarias que me hablaron sobre vogue, ballroom, rave y demás. Más allá de eso, conocí a dos chicas que llamaron mi atención por lo amigables que fueron conmigo toda la noche. Tras seguirnos en twitter, a una de ellas le mandé un mensaje que decía “muchas gracias por todo ayer, la pasé muy bien” y ahí empezó una conversación interminable (ya que aún seguimos hablando casi todo el día) sobre música y demás.

We've been talking ONLY about music for almost four days now, and I couldn't feel more grateful to find someone who is as willing to learn as she is to teach me. Thanks to spotify we've listened to music together despite being geographically separated, she's shown me her clothing designs and other things.

I don't have much to say, it's only four days and I can't think of anything to relate other than to say that we have talked a lot, however I want to talk about this because I feel really calm. I'm not talking about love, nor that I like it, I feel more like I found a friend with whom I can talk a lot without the need to force the conversation.

Llevamos casi cuatro días hablando SOLAMENTE de música, y no puedo sentirme más agradecido de encontrar a alguien que esté tan dispuesta a aprender como a enseñarme. Gracias a spotify hemos escuchado música juntos a pesar de estar geográficamente separados, me ha mostrado sus diseños de ropa y otras cosas.

No tengo mucho que decir, son solo cuatro días y no se me ocurre nada que relatar más que decir que hemos hablado mucho, sin embargo quiero hablar de esto porque me siento realmente tranquilo. No hablo de amor, ni de que me guste, lo siento más como que encontré a una amiga con la que puedo hablar mucho sin la necesidad de forzar la conversación.

Using euphemisms I have told her how grateful I am to have met her, but in a very, very subtle way. I use this to talk more extensively about that feeling, how my heart has enlarged with the possibility of talking and talking for hours and feeling really listened to, without the fear of being intense and not reciprocated. I hope to see this girl again soon, because I feel that she can become a good friend.

A base de eufemismos le he dicho lo agradecido que estoy de haberla conocido, pero de forma muy, muy sutil. Esto lo uso para hablar de forma más extensa de ese sentimiento, de cómo el corazón se me ha agrandado con la posibilidad de hablar y hablar durante horas y sentirme realmente escuchado, sin el miedo a ser intenso y que no sea reciproco. Espero volver a ver a esta chica pronto, porque siento que se puede volver una buena amiga
