Please don't resort to begging for upvotes. Your vote is worth 0.01 (at best) - hardly noticeable at plankton level. I'm not meaning to be rude, just up-front and honest with you. The best way to get noticed is (indeed) to visit others, but then to leave meaningful comments - talking something about what has been shared and what it means to you... things like that. It works - and people will get to notice you.
The other thing, of course, is to post regularly. Daily would be best. And don't limit yourself to a "niche" - it's not necessary on Steemit. (In fact, I notice that those who do limit themselves don't tend to last long.) Blow us away with awesome posts and you'll get noticed. It takes a few months though. Figure 4-6 months before you get a lot of recognition.
