Writing is part of the media of expression. Someone writes for wanting to pour ideas that have accumulated in his mind. Many people are interested in the field of writing one of them wants to become someone who is known. Apart from that, writing is a positive activity that makes use of words. A person who can not express ideas orally can express them through writing. By writing, a person like to immerse himself in the creative process. Because when writing, it means someone is creating something, which also means asking questions, experiencing doubts and confusion, until finally finding a solution. And when the creative process is getting trained, one will find it easier to divert skills to other areas that also require creative solutions.

Given the many benefits of writing activities, writing culture certainly needs to be grown. But to grow the culture is the first thing that must be owned is to grow our first love and habits in terms of reading. Because it takes the ability or the intelligence of language to reveal the thought that when writing, an author can easily in terms of selection of the right words in his writing. And reading is the solution. The more books you read, the more words you can produce. Like drinking more and more water, the more water.

A phenomenon that occurs today is, writing is like a frightening specter. Yet in the course of education, we can not let go of our activities from reading and writing. Often we find, the number of students who must be delayed graduation because constrained in the final task.

The habit should be changed. We do not need to imitate the Japanese people who are so happy in terms of reading. We can start from ourselves first by asking how many sheets of a book I have read in a single day. How can we make a good writing if we rarely read. Because the activity of reading and writing basically can not be separated from each other.

To be able to perform writing activities, a person is required to cultivate reading activities. However, the reading activity on which this writing is based has not been so maximized. Though reading culture can open a very useful knowledge horizon. More than that, reading and writing are not merely conveying ideas, information, or data and events. But train someone to be able to behave honestly. because writing made on the basis of honesty can provide energy in the form of satisfaction and passion to work for the author.

The government should be sensitive to all these circumstances. It takes an effort that can encourage young people today to better cultivate the activities of reading and writing. For sooner or later, this will have a serious impact on human resources in our country. Plagiarism is rampant certainly will not happen if reading and writing has become a culture for our society.

An important factor in society that is able to encourage the growing interest in reading is the teacher. Because teachers have the opportunity to create book-based learning, it also encourages students to actively explore the context within the community.

Library is an effective source of learning to increase knowledge through various literature. In contrast to the knowledge and skills learned classically in schools, libraries provide a variety of library materials that can be individually studied by their respective enthusiasts.

We need to change our paradigm that has been satisfied and proud only by collecting and reading the works of others, by creating papers for others. We are not satisfied just as consumers, who buy, collect and read other people's thoughts. We need to be producers to create works that can be enjoyed by others. Therefore, let us make reading and writing a culture in our daily lives.
