WWE's sources can be followed back similarly as 1952 when Roderick James "Jess" McMahon and Toots Mondt made the Capitol Wrestling Corporation Ltd. (CWC), which joined the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) in 1953. 

McMahon, who was an effective boxing promoter, started working with Tex Rickard in 1926. 

With the assistance of Rickard, he started advancing boxing and wrestling at the third Madison Square Garden.

It was not the first run through McMahon had advanced wrestling cards, as he had effectively done as such amid the 1910s.

The Royal Rumble is an expert wrestling pay-per-see occasion, created each January by proficient wrestling advancement World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

The occasion was made in 1988 with the inaugural occasion hung on January 24, 1988 at the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario. 

The occasion however was not a compensation for each view but rather was initially appeared as a TV extraordinary on USA Network. 

The next year's occasion was the principal Royal Rumble pay-per-see occasion. The primary Royal Rumble coordinate was won by Jim Duggan.
