The Road to Wrestlemania 34

It's 2018 folks and the road to Wrestlemania has already kick started with the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and Fastlane paper view.

The Royal Rumble is the first paper view on the road to Wrestlemania and was contested by 30 WWE superstars such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and Randy Orton as favorites to win it, but Shinske Nakamura stole the show with a surprise, as he came out the last man standing in the ring as he took Roman Reigns over the top rope to win the 2018 Men's Royal Rumble match and secure his Wrestlemania spot by declaring a challenge against the WWE Champion AJ Styles #DreamMatch, for the WWE Championship title.

Another talking point in the Royal Rumble was the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match, as WWE female superstars made history by competing for a Championship spot at Wrestlemania. The match saw 30 female superstars competing for a championship match Wrestlemania with the likes of Sasha Banks, Bayley, Naomi, Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella as favorites to win, but Raw superstar Asuka came out tops as she eliminated Nikki Bella to win the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match and book her spot at Wrestlemania.

The Elimination Chamber, Raw's paper view was the second road to Wrestlemania and a chance for Raw WWE superstars to secure their path to Wrestlemania. The talking points of the show was the Men's Seven Pack Challenge for a spot at Wrestlemania 34 to challenge Brock Lesner for the WWE Universal title and the Women's first ever Elimination Chamber match with the Women's Championship on the line.

The Men's Seven Pack match was contested by Elias, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Seth Rollins, and The Miz. Roman Reigns however ended up pinning Braun Strowman to win the match and book a title match against Brock Lesner for the WWE Universal title at Wrestlemania.
While the Women's Six Pack title match saw Bayley, Mickie James, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Sonya Deville, and Mandy Rose challenge for the Raw Women's Championship title. Alexa Bliss however defeated Sasha Banks to retain the Raw Women's Championship title.

Moving on to Fastlane, the last paper view and final stop on the road to Wrestlemania. A Smackdown Live event with an opportunity for Smackdown superstar to book a spot at Wrestlemania.
Fastlane was filled with intrigue and twists as it unraveled, with Asuka from Raw and Winner of first ever Women's Royal Rumble, coming out to challenge Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Live Women's Championship, to the Blugdeon Brothers interrupting the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team match between the Usos and New Day, decking havoc and injury to both teams, to Randy Orton winning his first United States Championship and becoming a Grand Slam Champion, and then lastly AJ Styles, who beat the odds to retain the WWE Championship in a Six Pack match against Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, John Cena, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

As we draw closer to Wrestlemania 34 more twists are expected to unfold with John Cena and other superstars yet to secure a spot at "The Big Stage" which takes place April 8 in New Orleans.
