CGI or computer animated drama / documentary takes place in Darwin IV, a planet 6.5 light-years from Earth, with 2 suns and 60% of Earth's gravity. After identifying Darwin as a life-sustaining world, Earth sent a pilot mission comprising Mothership Von Braun and three rides: Balboa, Da Vinci and Newton. This robotic fleet is responsible for discovering and assessing every life form in Darwin IV. Initially, his hope was to find a microscopic life, but the probes soon found themselves in the midst of an advanced ecosystem filled with the diversity of life of all sizes. Drama in Darwin IV is motivated by real science missions, such as NASA's Origins Program and NASA Planet-Finder Mission / JPL, and the Darwin Project of the European Space Agency.
