Your name. by l4dybug
Today we talk about a Japanese animated film, Your Name (Kimi no na wa in original language) written in 2016 and directed by Japanese director Makoto Shinkai. It was presented for the first time at the Anime Expo 2016 in Los Angeles, California.
The soundtrack
The Radwimps band composed the soundtrack, working hand in hand with Makoto Shinkai during the project of the film. The most famous song in the film is Zen zen zense, literally Pre-pre-previous Life, which, in the Guapponian version, is also the theme song of the film. In Italy the acronym was adopted to the song Youmetorou, in English Dream Lantern.The soundtrack also won the 2nd prize in the Best Soundtrack category at the Newtype Anime Awards of 2016, while Zenzenzense won the 2nd prize in the Best Song category.
Makoto Shinkai
The director of the film, Japanese, was already famous before the release of Your Name for The Garden of Words. One of his first films was Twenty-five centimeters per second.
The plot
Mitsuha is a 17-year-old girl who lives in a mountain village near a lake. During the night he makes strange dreams, where he lives the life of a 17 year old from Tokyo named Taki. Same thing happens to Taki, a student at a college in Tokyo, who at night dreams of the life of a girl named Mitsuha. They will discover that they are linked to a strange phenomenon of body exchange. When the trade is interrupted, Taki decides to go and look for Mitsuha, but he will discover that the village he lived in was hit by a fragment of a comet 2 years earlier. Will he be able to exchange one more time to save Mitsuha's life?
