Learning is not child's play; we cannot learn without pain

When people think something is easy to learn, they don’t put enough effort. They become over confident and some achievements require a fair bit of struggle in order to be a successful. We face many problems and struggle a lot, but we move on and gain a very important life experience. In the most cases we need to leave our comfort zone and suffer a little to achieve our goals. .

When we start a new project or have a new idea,  we experience decreased happiness in the moment and lower levels of enjoyment. We suffer, but the painful learning experience will make us smarter. Later, when we look back, we feel happy and satisfied with what we have accomplished. Speaking in terms of fitness, there is definitely a truth behind the sentence, no pain, no gain.

That's why procrastination makes no sense even though a lot of us do it, because if we just got on with a task we would feel greater satisfaction and happiness

Absolutely true, but very difficult in real life :(

Being a bit agree I must dissapoint mostly xD

Let me explain it... I know what you are talking about and it’s right pain becomes part of improvement but it’s not direct relationship.
The accepted theory behind pain = gain comes from muscular destruction after exercecise which translates into tissue inflamation. Pain works as alarm for CNS to prevent us into non reversible changes (aka injury) so the theory behind supercompensation has also risks if we go further the limits.

Also I want to point the fact we can learn better and faster if we take it as childs play since our CNS learns from mistakes and only people who allow mistakes as part of learning process could go over pain. In fact medicine points laugh as amazing source of endorphines which can heal (or almost mitigate more naturally than painkillers) faster our pain. I want to share this tedtalk to show about “mistakes and success”

As a conlcusion I will state “pain is part of the improvement in learning process but enjoyment is the best vector driven for motivation”

Only when we enjoy something we can change our habits from inside. The struggle to find our authentic self and accept its sides become the source for confrontation (inner locus vs outside locus) and pain. When we realize how to live peacefully in that struggle we usually smile (and sometimes laugh)

Thanks for such interesting article that made me remember and integrate this. I should write about this deeply but using the iPad as a main source for blogging isn’t the most fun activity in my life (lol)
I made the effort because I appreciate you a lot and I want to discuss this to try to find the best experience for both.

My best wishes for you @hanen

I must thank you for such an interesting comment that can be a post itself :) Well I wasnt enjoying writing blogs before, but now I do it. You see! We can not learn without pain lol Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we have to learn new skills, even if we dont want to. But once we start, everything else works out easily.

I watched some TED videos and find them really interesting. Will check that one out :)

But it’s a enjoyable pain when it’s shared with lovely souls like you...

Thanks to you for being so friendly <3

Well said we all experience it and if we don't we are not moving forward enough :)

Yes we need always something to push us do things :)

Most definitely life would get to boring otherwise :)

Yes absolutely.

Thanks for this advice, I will be sure to follow it; have a nice day

You welcome :)
