In the place just right,

I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,
"everywhere"
"everywhere"

I really like that horse photo, the lighting is wonderful! It has been kind of overcast a lot where I am at so I'm happy to see the special sunlight photo.

I really like that first image – the aged, monochrome treatment really sets it apart. I also especially like the floating flowers one too.

The weather service seems to like the attention that scaring people needlessly with horrid weather forcasting gets them. We had practically nothing from the dregs of the last storm. Yes I realize the people on the coast have to take it a bit more seriously at times, but I didn't even prepare for the last one....LOL.... really.
I'm not concerned with the next one either.
I hope the bullets you are sweating fit the kind of gun you have. Sure would save a lot of money.
Haha! I meant it is still hot up here, although, today is nicer!
I lived on the water too many years to sweat it. I'm not saying I wouldn't pay attention if I lived in Florida and a CAT 5 hit, but, by the time it makes its way up the coast unless I am at the Shore House (which I went there this week and only one large limb came down. 57giant trees? I'm glad that is all I got.
Anywho, all is well with the world ATM.
