Steemit Engagement Challenge S5-W4: My 5 senses

I don’t want to feel left out so… here I am!
From the time that we are born we learn how to use our senses. By doing this we learn to understand what is going on around us and we start to explore. In other words, we make sense of what is happening around us.
And that my friends are where the word “sense” derives from, making sense.
This we do by seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching. These are our 5 basic senses!
Now, I am not a coffee lover but oh boy, do I make sense of this cup of coffee!
We all learn the best and preserve the most when we engage our senses. As a child mom told us to read aloud, to write, and to underline or color when we studied. It worked for me. In fact, I still do it.
When I write my posts, just before I push that “post” button I will read them aloud and follow the words with my finger on my screen. I always wondered if my family somehow thinks that I have a screw missing. No, my dear family, I am engaging my senses.

Today we received post number 100 in this week’s challenge, “Steemit Engagement Challenge S5-W4: My 5 senses”.
I must have read and verified at least 40 of these posts and with each of them, I experienced my 5 basic senses plus more!
• I went back to varsity where I read and learned the various equations about papaya transport in between reading the Bible with you.
• I was listening to you saying your daily prayers.
• I felt the softness of flowers and I smelled the roses.
• I listened to the falling rain, the stories people told, and the laughter of children.
• I woke up with you and your delicious smelling coffee not to mention the smell of those chocolate cakes.
• I celebrate birthdays with you and joined your family at mealtimes sharing your love for each other.
• I felt that special sense you had for your children and I felt the joy you had receiving gifts or donations
Thank you for taking me on a sensory journey! This week I have learned the true meaning of making sense of the post of my fellow Steemians.

Here is my version;
As I was walking along the beach this morning I could feel the wet sand under my bare feet, see the footprints I left behind me, smell the freshness of the ocean, hear the waves breaking and taste the salt in the air which made me realize that I am alive!

Thank you very much for the mention, I really am a coffee lover, and this country, Colombia, is among the pioneers in this field, and not for nothing :-)
Smell is rarely used, but it is the most primitive of all our senses, and it is to a great extent one of those that can leave the most sensory mark in our minds.
More than 100 entries, wow, is that the topic lends itself to fly, it really has been a great topic that you have selected.
Even just that one sentence you ask to be written, from our day, is a nice challenge. There are so many ways to be inspired that I don't understand why people sometimes say: I don't know what to write about.
Today I woke up at 5 am, everything was still dark, I heard people leaving the building, they must be going to their jobs, I assumed.
I looked at the phone to check the time, I was dazzled by its brightness in the darkness, I decided to get up. I placed my bare feet on the cold floor, before feeling around on the floor for my flip-flops. I went straight to the kitchen to turn on the coffee pot and let the smell of freshly brewed coffee waft out, while I was cleaning myself in the bathroom.
Confess @josevas217, you smiled and flashed your gleaming teeth at the computer screen when you saw yourself in my friend @patjewell post.

And you haven't seen a photo of my friend @josevas217 showing all his teeth, I've always told him that he's my partner when they do a parboiled corn 🌽🌽🌽 eating contest, we'll be the champion team.
And I also tell him that he has a smile worthy of a toothpaste commercial hahahahahahaha.

I appreciate to steem for better life community, because I seen many contest in this community but every contest are very easy that's why ursers bring with traffic and participate in this contest, also the contest wan't more effort the need in every contest whatever we doing in our daily routine. I'm newly subscribed this community because of these type contest. I read many posts related this contest mostly users described about 5 sences and mostly about food and flowers.
