#menemonday: Build your savings, one charm at a time
In the past, I could not save at all. There existed a large hole in my wallet that drained my hard-earned fiat... and for years I accumulated stuff and fluff that had little value!!!
It took others to tell me what to do.
Then I made a personal DECISION and ACTION.
I decided to save on precious metals, and to buy precious metals... every month.

But you are correct. During Sunday Mass, I observe that most women are wearing custom jewelry, pretty but fake Gold electroplated made to look like gold jewelry. Then most rings I see worn by the women and men are obviously of low karat gold, yet I think they paid much for them.

I was a great saver back in the day. Until I started dating. I was a generous date and boyfriend. Probably way too generous now looking back at. But I never sold my stack. Lucky girlfriend to have a generous boyfriend like you. I personally love to be showered with generosity, but I myself will not be outdone in generosity. If my boyfriend was generous, I’d probably be twice or thrice as generous towards him in everything!
I am sorry again for that horrible experience with your partner. There are things I cannot come to grips with... and that is betrayal, disloyalty and deliberately hurting the feelings of others.

Wow dude, that sucks! I know you are a decent fellow and smart too. I hate to hear that happening to ya. But another pretty good friend of mine, he was married to a Miss Indiana and they got divorced. He had moved on but I noted that it had to be a tough one to get over... He just told me that "Women are like the bus, another one comes along about every 15 minutes". True, but there are a few caveats to that. Don't just settle for a ride on the "very next bus", walking is actually good for a while 😎 Plus, you don't want to become jaded and become just another user. These are not perfect analogies, but I think you get the drift LOL
By partner i meant a business partner not my wife. Saver knows the story so i used less detail. I was 20 and in business with a friend that screwed me for over 100k. I wouldn’t file bankruptcy and screw my entire future. So i did what i had to. Quick version
