Wednesday Walk: Autumn Fun
I am involved in a pilot of a School Climate Enhancement Program, so although I am not a parent, I decided to visit a local small school during their Autumn Festival.
The PTA lined up many activities for the children to participate around arts and creativity such as Pumpkin Painting.
This is an artwork completed by a first grader.
The school also provided several fun games that involved physical activity like this merry musical go-around.
A parent volunteered his band for live music and entertainment. I thought that was cool 😎!
The food was not at all spectacular, just the usual pizza, beverages, sweet pastries and cookies, and cotton candy.
I also walked around a pumpkin patch.
I love the bright oranges at pumpkin patches!
This large pumpkin will make several pumpkin pies, for sure!
And so will this one!

Along the perimeter wall, pumpkins were stacked up!

The winds are still strong here in my area of California and the fires continue to burn. It is so chilly here because of the wind factor. I am get cold easy, and it can be a discomfort at times. I wish I could just stay under the sheets in my comfy soft bed!

the pumpkins are windows based, I hit the windows key and the period simultaneously and then a small pop-up appears! You can type the name
of the desired emoji and then possible matches show, select the one you
want to use. It's quite good and works on comment sections for about
any blog or website. I use it on Disqus a lot 😜😉
I to love the bright warm colors is the pumpkin Patch and y the way that first grader can paint better thanI can :)

Oh goodness... thanks for the TRDO and the tip, @tattoodjay! I think that summer is beautiful because of the many different colors around us. Yet despite the predominant orange color of Autumn, I find this season magnificent with the fiery oranges, and reds and browns and blacks.

I will be making several pumpkin pies this weekend to bring to the people who live in the park. I think that I may have time to make two for Thursday!

Yes, you are right with your assessment. Some may not be as involved in school because of work-related situations that truly presents challenge for them. This event was held from 4:30 to 7pm. You’d think that later towards the evening after regular work hours that you’d see more parents. Alas, it was not the case.

Ms. Saver I was Very Concerned when You showed me the Pizza Slice that you were going to have. I did not say anything at the time but I wanted so Badly to take you out for a Real Good Pizza when I saw That. One Day I know we will have some Real Good Pizza together. The Pumpkins were so many there it looks like you could have had Pumpkin Pies for the rest of your Life. Lots of great photos of the event and I know that you had an enjoyable day.. I miss the wonderful changing colors of Autumn. Specially a New York Autumn afternoon. Not much drastic in my part of the world.
