Realizations and Milestones. 16 Sept 2018
Realizations...
I have mentioned before, one of the reasons why I love exercising outdoors... One of them is being able to have time all by myself. It gives me my much needed time to think and let my thoughts wander about.
It also gives me a chance to pay attention to things which would normally just go by unnoticed.
But before anything else... let me just share something I noticed today...
2,000 Followers! Woottt!
Here I am, 15 months later on my steemit journey and I just hit my 2,000 followers milestone. Not that it is really relevant given that most are dead followers or bots or whatevers, but still the point is...
ahhmmm... whats the point? Lols.
I guess, it really is more about getting an organic following. Those who would really stick around and engage. Engagement, I admit is what I m lacking recently. Given my hectic schedule, I just cannot spend more time for steemit these days.
Back to my realizations...
Here's some petty thoughts from this morning...
Last night, I calculated how I'd complete 9kms in today's run.
4kms from home to Umm Al Emarat Park and back plus 2 rounds around the park's perimeter.
Upon completing 2 rounds at the park's perimeter and on my way back, I realized I was 2kms short of my target. Which meant that I needed to make 3 rounds. Hmmm, so I will try that tomorrow. For today, I still had to make 2 rounds at the playground.
It's all about the attitude.
I just came to think, why there are people who do not progress. Even when presented with opportunity, they are stuck.
I guess at work, or anywhere else, one of the parameters of success is attitude. You've got to show heart. Love your work, seize opportunities. If you are seen to be working with heart, it says a million things about you.
And how about those who just act like so full of themselves, arrogant and disrespectful... oh well!
Something else I noticed...
I also noticed how significantly hot the sewers are! LOL. Yeah, each time I passed sewerages at the sidewalk, I could feel the warm air emanating from the holes.
Yeah, I know. I noticed even that. 😆😅
Gotta sleep.
Oh I really hope to get better sleep tonight. My Little Monster is not too well, he had slight fever last night and again tonight hence the crankiness.

Congratulations on the milestone! Don't worry about those dead and ghost followers, maybe they will rise when the steem price goes up!
At least the sewerage isn't smelly!
Thank you @bayanihan! Yeah. I suspect they'll all come back to life when steem price picks up. That's how we got lots of new users around December last year anyway.
Luckily, the sewerages were just giving off warm air. Not the smelly kind. They get treated periodically. 😅😉
