howdy there mariannewest! wonderful post, took me by surprise. Not that I didn't think you could do a great post but because everyone else I've seen doing an actifit post just puts up there figures and that's it.

But your's is an actual post and a good one!

Thank you. this is San Diego, California. I am back and forth from here to Arizona :)

I am posting some of the reports just plain actifit with no pictures. It really depends on how tired I am at the time of posting. for the most part, I will try to make it more into a post.

howdy back mariannewest! professional writer..have you had more time to write? I remember last month you were kinda frustrated because you didn't have as much time to write as you wanted.

Yes I like that you flesh out those reports a little into a more "real" post!

I am still figuring out my priorities :) And to fleshing out the post - the app allows for way more keywords or tags then Steemit does. So, if you go in and edit it, then you lose the extra keywords. Since it is a daily thing and you get the upvote and tokens for being active AND posting, many choose to just straight post.
I do too if it is a matter of getting the post out even if it is short and hitting the hay or trying for a longer post - which takes forever when you are tired and losing sleep.

haha! yes Ma'am I need some sleep too! yeah it's torture trying to get a post ready when you're exhausted isn't it? That does allow you to get a post out at least if you haven't had time to do a regular one, I like that about it.

Yes, me too. It keeps me wanting to move - I am weirdly competitive with myself - that I set goals and then, I want to get there. And that is important. And it gives me a post, upvotes, and tokens. All good :)

haha! hey mariannewest what about getting on the leaderboard and all that stuff with actifit? or you competitive with the other people or do you just concentrate on reaching your own goals and bettering your own performance?

And when do they start to give out or make products available to purchase with your tokens?

There is no way (well, there might be - but) that I am going to be on the leaderboard. those dudes must be long distance runners. good for them.

I am just keeping track of myself. My goal is to reach 10,000 steps or activity points every day and at the minimum 5000. So, if I had a day with lots of sitting, I will go out of my way and get up to the 5000. I have done intervals of running and walking at home to get there. But if I am at 5000 and am tired, I am not going to go crazy to reach the 10,000.

Hope that makes sense.

I have no idea if and when the tokens become worth anything besides a record of some sort of achievement. And at this point, I don't care. It is all about my own health for me right now :)

howdy again mariannewest! oh I understand and that's the healthiest way to look at this too, no stress or pressure on yourself! Very wise and practical!
Yes it makes total sense and I love how this thing is helping so many people get moving!
