Actifit plus Curation: The Stain of Mordred | Story by Alienbutt
Each day, aside from my Actifit report card, I'll share one amazing content that I found recently to make each post meaningful. And for today, here's an intriguing fiction story by Alienbutt.
The Stain of Mordred - Part 1
The setting that the author built up is quite interesting - two different worlds/time with a portal that connects one to the other. I always find it interesting how the characters and elements impact the other world once the transfer happens.
And another interesting bit is the story's real background. The author has been playing around with the idea long ago for a few times. This iteration felt a lot stronger because of the focus on a central character, George. The character had a good moment and had me piqued right from the start. It made me wonder what happens next and how he'll influence the "other world".
George walked off into the night with no thought to where he was going but he did have a plan that involved his service revolver. During the war, George had only ever handled the gun to clean it and it had spent more time in his locker with his dress uniform than belted to his waist.
