My Actifit & Ulog Report: April 8 2019
I found Gia’s commands! My daughter in law found her training agreement and here they were. There is still one I don’t know what she is supposed to do, but I will find out.
Another thing I found was Turkey jerky dog treats. I asked my daughter in law to bring her to me before she had breakfast. We took off with a couple of treats in my pocket.
They break up into small pieces and we had the best walk with all kinds of good behavior and lots of treats for a reward.
Back home, we harnessed Miss BB and off we went. All together. They did really well! Last time I took them both they were a bit crazy.
Later, when Gia got picked up, she even jumped into the car. I had gone in with a treat and in she hopped.
That was the first time since she had come into the family. Everyone always had to lift her in. I am quite proud of this accomplishment!
The rest of the day was spent doing a myriad of things in the garden. Harvesting greens for a breakfast smoothie and a giant turnip for dinner.
They thought it was a very interesting thing I brought to them.
Tomorrow, the Mulberries need to be picked again. I think I will make a cobbler.

Oh, we have a poem about a giant turnip in Bulgarian :)
You have to tell it now!!!
I can tell you the story but no way I can rhyme it as the original...
Grandpa Greybeard pulls on a turnip.
he pulls and pushes, stretching and sweats but the turnip stirs not, shakes not. It stays there.
So he calls for Grandma. They both push and pull ... with no result.
They call for their granddaughter and the three of them pull but the turnip stays where it is...
So they call for the dog...
...Then for the cat...
...Then for the mouse.
The six of them finally pull the turnip out.
And they feasted for three days and nights in bliss and joy... And that's it.
Love the story!! Teamwork rules!
