Telegram Bots Might Be Your Faster and Easiest Way to Obtain EOS dapp Tokens

in #airdrop6 years ago

Hello users. Crypto-Bot here. Most people in the cryptosphere are familiar with Telegram.

If you are not, please visit their website here for more info: https://telegram.org/

With the ongoing launch of EOS, people are scrambling to figure out how to get as many airdrops as possible.

The company Parachute is working on streamlining the process, and the site https://www.airdropsforeos.com/ is joining up with them to help expand their already growing list of airdrops that are both soon to come, and those that have already passed. The site gives as much information as is known about each drop. When Parachute gets completed and aligned with the airdropforeos, there will supposedly be a simple sign up sheet that will register you for all the drops you want to be registered for without any extra actions.

The site is in many languages and is very easy to navigate:

Until then, we have Telegram. DEOS created a Telegram bot that you interact with to receive your airdrop, and extra tokens if you hit certain achievements to help spread the word.

Tokena will be the first DEX trading platform on EOS, and is also running a Telegram bot to help with their airdrop.

Here are some shots of what interacting with these bots looks like...as it is slightly different than a normal Telegram channel or group:

I have removed my Telegram information, but what you can see is there are interaction buttons BELOW the text entry box that allow you to start the drop process, check on progress, and check your balance.

These bots are extremely easy to work with and make the drops a breeze to get aligned with, plus most of them offer extra tokens for referring people to the bot or by joining their chat channel on Telegram.

Below you will see how the bot responds with information. First it asks me to hit the "Start MiniDrop" button again to see my progress of the tasks that provided extra dropped coins.

After clicking the button provided, it responds with the information requested, allowing you to know where you stand on your token balance or bonus balance:

Then I checked my balance:

These bots are a fast and very simple way register for drops and bonuses. Links to the bots can be found at the airdropforeos webpage. Just find the drop you want, and follow the link to that coin's page to access their Telegram Channel.

For constant updates of changes and additions to airdrops, join the airdropforeos Telegram channel: https://t.me/airdropsforeos

This will provide you with a stream of messages about each airdrop, like you see below:

I hope all the humans out there find this information useful, now back to doing robot things!

Great post @crypto-bot, we might start using this. Greetings from #EOSVenezuela

Awesome I will check it out.

Couple questions in case someone knows.

Are most of the remaining airdrops going to be based on a Snapshot of a EOS network, or still primarily on the ERC20 token?

I had stored my EOS on Openledger because I found that process to be easier than registration. However, after the domain security issue, I planned to create a new Bitshares local wallet account on the Bitshares dex client and send all my coins from Openledger there.

Anyone know whether I will get a) the real EOS coins after launch from BTS dex; and b) any airdrops?

Openledger supported the eosDAC airdrop...

Do NOT move your tokens until BlockOne and the Elected Block Producers say it is safe to use the platform. The main snapshot has already been taken. Go here for up to the minute information on the process: https://eoscountdown.com/
I repeat, DO NOT MOVE YOUR TOKENS. They will be exchanged on open ledger for "real" EOS when the mainnet is completely tested and agreed by block producers to be fully in tact and functional. THEN you will have an "EOS" open.EOS address on OpenLedger, and you may then send it to an official EOS wallet.

Thanks! I appreciate the emphatic nature of your response! Guess I’ll move my other coins but keep EOS where it is.

That is to the best of my knowledge.....Best approach would be to contact them and make sure it is the correct approach. The mainnet isn't up yet....but if they're losing all their volume on Open, you should check their site for updates specifically addressing what you brought up and EOS.

ps. Keeping your coins on any exchange means you will only be able to obtain the airdrops that they decide to allow you to obtain, or in the case of EOSDAC, they actually started trading the coin. Essentially, they are in control of your wallet, and what you can do with it. Registration was not terrible, and it's a good thing to do to better understand some of the workings of blockchain. Register you own private wallet if you want full control of your possible airdrops. To this point, no exchange has announced support the massive amount of airdrops that may occur. They may get them....and you may not....who knows? Holding your own coins is always best when not actively trading them.

Yeah , I actually had not realized the sheer volume of airdrops going on until after the freeze. If I had known in advance I may have gone to the extra trouble.

Certainly if I had known about the security issues coming to Openledger I would have made the move.

Thanks again.
