You’re point is so valid and extremely important. I have this discussion with my students and with parents all the time. We need to teach kids to stop and think about the messages they are receiving and why. Especially in this age of technology where young people are being targeted so much by media. We can’t just take everything we see online as fact and truth, not should we just fall in line and comply when suggested. We need to teach young peopento stop and think critically about these messages and make informed decisions. Thanks for the shout out on my post.
It was very insightful your post about student's scores. Very few teachers notice this. The majority just follow the herb. As you implied, other regions must veer the head and observe what Finland is doing with education, and use their approach. They will then realize that the importance cannot be placed solely on grades but on constant progress.
