RE: Guess Who Showed Up 🐴 Moose Monday

They are really cute when small. Really not much bigger than a german shepherd dog, and not quite strong or fast enough to fight off stray dogs, especially if they are in a pack. That is why they hang with the momma moose for the first 6 to 9 months of growing, learning the ropes, where it's safe to travel, and where it is not. A shame so many get taken out on the roads.

Sort:

Seen on some video out of Homer about
a dog chasing the moose out of the guys
driveway and about a law that someone
can shoot said moose chasing dogs if seen.

In this case the dog just herded the moose
out of his yard. Unlike other dogs who go
for the byte. But it don't matter if some one
else sees this they can off your dog.

Moose Dog

And then they will be whining about the expensive vet bills from their dog getting kicked by the moose, and unable to pay the bill will have to put the dog down. They should not let their dog harass the wildlife. If they are then they need to accept the responsibility for everything that happens, example dog lured the moos into the street, streets are snowy and icy, berms are high and people can not see over them, moose and dog enter road, driver on road has to slam on brakes goes into a skid, hits moose or dog, or snow berm and get injured, it is 100% the dog owners fault.
