Rest, Stop - Found Poetry
When I was more active on the arty front, one of my favourite things to do was create found poetry.
Basically you take the pages of a book or newspaper and find words there to turn into a poem.
It's a lot of fun.
Here's the poem I created from the pages of a book I picked up at the Sunday Market.
💙 💛 💜 💚
rest, stop
tenderly answer
are you well today?
spirit, mind and body breath
ablaze with glimpses of Heaven
I laugh
you ask me after that

So here it is again.
What a clever idea. It reminds me of the John Lennon song. Being for the benefit of Mr Kite where he used a similar method based on and old circus poster.
It's a lot of fun but I usually cock up the joining of the words. Probably about 2 out of 3 times I've mucked it up. None the less. I still find it very relaxing. The challenge, once you've started, is to let the rest of the words find you, rather than come up with an idea and going looking for them. 😁

I do feel the same @nolasco. I wish I was a bit more efficient with my time. I can seem to waste rather a lot over the simplest of tasks. My latest example is buying a suitcase.
I have bought 3 so far and none of them were right when I got them home. Long story.
I'm taking the third one back later. Maybe it will be fourth time lucky!!

Well. I've taken the third one back but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for at a price I wanted to pay. So I'll probably just use our old one now. 😁
