Very good. Sounds like a healthy thing to do. I think there's many things that don't need to be explained or done for anyone else but ourselves. Especially if they don't affect anyone else, but even if they do, if you feel they are what you should do, do them. I can say that when I've done that, more times than not, it's worked out for the best. The times I haven't done that, the opposite happened most frequently. So, I am a firm believer in this.

We don't have to convince ourselves of it, either, or come up with excuses to do it. If it's the right thing, it's the right thing. Sometimes we need to come up with a myriad of reasons to justify things, when really, there's no need.

So, inspiration for your very first commission. That must have felt good. :)
