This is the fifth in my series Portraits of Steemians! I have just completed a portrait of our sweet @kubbyelizabeth who I met on the PAL/MSP discord! She is somewhat of an unofficial greeter like me so she welcomes people to the minnowsupport project room and she is a true ray of sunshine! I hope I have done her justice :)

wow you constantly amaze me @juliakponsford! I am slightly scared of making art of real people's faces because of some kind of fear of screwing it up but you always seem to slice right through to the essence of someone in your portraits - you make it look easy and I know it isn't (for me anyway!). Really great color palette here, the background is beautiful
Thank you I totally understand, portraits always make me a bit nervous as well because people might not see themselves as you are seeing them especially people you have not met in person! It's hard to get an accurate vision of someone through photos alone!
yeah I give you serious props for your portrait series. It is actually really inspirational for me - might actually dust off portrait drawing again for the first time since advanced art classes in high school... which was a... long... time ago... :)
Well you can post your trials and errors as well it is interesting to watch people progress, of course you don't need to post on steemit until you comfortable doing so.

At the beginning i thought is photo retouching.
But if it is made fully in infinite painter then is double nice :-)
And saw your avatar and from the little one thought you got some makeup then at the end of your post with self portraits is this one. Hehe, nice eyes all over :-))
Haha I am tricking you left and right! I'm glad you thought this was a photo retouch I worked on it for ages to try to get it as realistic as possible :) thanks!
Nice to see here on steem people with real talents and having real fun, not like on other crappy social. hope this one will not turn into a miserable facebook.
