My Head Feels Like a Rollercoaster
Yello steemits! Or steemians or.. steamers? today I'm gonna show you on my old art from months ago 💝
This was for a contest on ibispaint, but I don't think I'll win cuz everyone likes anime more which is eh, fine ya know sniff and I don't think I won either haah, too much creative entries.
So I guess you could say I FAILED on this, but.. Nah I'm pretty proud of it. The fact that I was just free styling all the way is just wow. I dunno if I can do that ever again haha.
Not so fun fact: I felt sick when I was making this so I guess thats how I got the idea from? lol.
Faq:
Tools: borrowed an iPad and my phone for sketching part
Alrighty, lets get onto the process shall we?
Process:
First I drew the sky, using the blending layers to make it seem pretty and try to make it look like a sunset
Then I draw the head/silhuette, or whatever, and just do the base color and how I want it to look like in the final product.

I added few details on the statue

And then adding shading using blending layers!!
I then finished up the sketching part.
"Maya what the fuc k did you do"
Okay okay inner doubts! So all I did was got a blending layer and try to mix it up with a blue shading, why blue? Because the sky is mostly blue in my mind, (well atleast I hope it is blue)
Then ofcourse look at that ferris wheel! Comparing that to the other statue, it looks more faraway right? That's because I added in atmosphere, I won't explain much since it wasn't the main focus on this piece.
Also!! I drew some clouds, to spice things up and everyone thinks this is some kinda elite sky high carnival that has been abandoned by some magic wizard shit, I dunno?
What I was REALLY focusing on is how the hat looks good or not, not really on experimenting or anything I wanna do. So yeahh.

I tried to blend it all the colors together, the more I blend the more it looks like a buddhist temple or something :T
Though I didn't mind it but I felt it was weird
I added the supports on the side of the ear since it kinda looks unrealitic without propper weight balancing or support. It's just architecture stuff that I've learned from Minecraft building tutorials haha-
But yeah, I can't say much in this since it also just me detailing but.. OH! Drawing that helicopter part was fun huehue, I didn't plan much on how the building looks but it all ends up looking very good.
Plus removed some clouds cuz it looks super annoying to look at for me, so yep BEGONE!!

And so i was getting bored and wanting to know more about how to make the art look interesting so I added glasses and hair and.. Whoops it looks like me now.. Oh well, it's my temple now!

And finally it is finished, I only detailed and make the lines more harder in the last step. I also added more clouds on the bottom and it doesn't look distracting like the last cloud so thank god. I dunno how to draw clouds very well tbh..
