Interesting to see some Japanese stories. Are you Japanese?

What is their belief in regards to numerology? As i'm seeing it's mentioned no 7 as if it's some kind of synchronicity of sorts. And it's a shame to see that selfish deeds like serving someone, were more of concern before human values such as love and compassion even in the older times. Otherwise i find it of interest this post :^.

Sort:

7 is a universal sacred number :- 7 seas - 7 days of the week - 7 colors of the spectrum - 7 virtues etc.
A high percenteage of Japanese are Buddhist and they believe in seven reincarnations, they celebrate the birth of a new baby a week after his/her birth. Same for one's death, funeral held on seventh day and memorial on seventh week following death.
Also, the practice of "entrusting" to water is a Buddhist and Shintoist practice, all about spiritualism, achestry and water been a good carrier to/for the souls.

I am sorry Vega and Alteir's myth was not completely to your taste. It's a myth with an umbilical cord to reality, I understand your feeling but power prevail sentiments, especially for people on power! a woman's life was worth nothing and if she was born to a 3rd or 4th wife, was worth even less ... It's a myth, but we cannot change history.

No @teetee I am not Japanese.
Thank You for stopping by, for your comment and interest.
Have a good day.

Uh sounds interesting. Is it only 7 important, or are there any other numbers as well ? I'm asking you as i use to find no 33 somewhat mystic i was quite fond of it, but i dont know whether it has some meaning or not.

Yes, i am interested in reading and finding new stuff hihi, is part of my learning curve.
