A surprise hail came down from the skies. It was sudden and quick but I managed to take the shot of my wipers. Also created the colours, of course. :)

Windshield!? I don't know why I imagined that you were always on your bike and that from there you took many of your photographs! On second thought, it's a good thing you were in a car because, apparently, the ice storm was strong. In these times nature can be unpredictable. Greetings, @velimir

If you don't comment on the photo, I would have imagined that it was a surface of another kind, and the pieces of ice were placed on it creating that irregular volume effect. The colour reflected on the glass seems to show a cloudy sky, perhaps accentuated by transparency. The hail fall must be a truly surprising and strange phenomenon.
