RE: AskSteemit: Which dApp do you believe can bring Steem to the masses?

in #asksteemit6 years ago

An app that doesn't try to mimic previously successful ones (like Reddit let's say) but creates a whole new demographic. Reason is the time of those successful apps and sites is ending. They were successful, they're done. The new generation doesn't care. It should be named something more unique than d-whatever (unless it's @dbag, just saying) and introduce a demographic we haven't seen here yet.

Yeah, I had the same thought, was hoping this post would awaken some new ideas (even though the readers would decide not to disclose them). There's a lot of new dimensions Steem brings into the game that haven't existed before so there are possibilities of something completely new to be created which goes viral quick.

I've got a few proposals that were made to me but none are sure-fire successes and in the end it's a game of $$$ for development. Personally, I'd like to see something aimed at real education (not the myriad classes about how to succeed on or use Steemit).

Why do you hate STEEMITSCHOOL!?

You know something like real education you're right, so many junk initiatives aim at educating but the real intention they have is to get whale support and money, maybe a real time education backed by STEEM

Coming soon! Watch my blog ;)

I have been working on this for nine months @promo-mentors.

If dapps doesn't follow previous sucessful setting then it will take long to carry the masses along because it will take time for masses to aclamatize to a whole new setting strange to them

"Tasteem" isn't "dfoodreviews". The naming convention isn't necessary imo. Naming conventions are for the military anyways.

I actually thought about this, but we have Ebay! ;)
