The Bitcoin Bulls reached up today and just grazed the $12K mark, putting on a show for the crowd while the bears watched from a distance.
The show is over for today though, and it appears the bears have come out to feed on what's left, timidly watching over their backs in fear.
Poetic imagery aside, Bitcoin has proven once again that it can effortlessly rebound after receiving such a pounding from the Bearwhales. I Still believe this $12K - $12.5K zone will show the biggest resistance yet, but we will have to see where the market goes during the next few days. Bitcoin has weeks worth of built up momentum behind it, and while the new money may not be entering the market just yet, the sign to watch for is when altcoins start to surge and take back the market dominance that Bitcoin is gobbling up right now. Once Bitcoin has had it's fill, we should see the capital overflow once again to the altcoins. When this happens is anyone's guess; it could be weeks or months away.

Bitcoin marches toward $12,000 in spite of new regulation chatter from the US
This was the most interesting news about Bitcoin at the top of Google search today. Everything else was copy-pasted from articles written 6 months ago, but with a few numbers moved around.
It appears though that governments are desperately trying to "educate" their populations about the dangers of cryptocurrency. To translate in my own words: blockchain technology is like a giant spot light, and those in important government positions prefer working in dark alleyways, where the plebs can't see what they are doing.

Ah right on time. I usually read your sage words right before bed in EST north america land.
I may have dropped this simple chart on another of your posts but the overbought stoch on the 12 and 24 hour charts as well as this rising wedge were signs of corrections, while the guy on the other shoulder was telling me BTC was going to ignore all conventional wisdom and just moon again. Resisting the FOMO in this run of slightly more educated traders should mean for some MEAN profit.
Make no mistake, I am a BTC cheerleader and that price chart including the price this time last year made me do a lap around the office chugging my IPA. Imagine the conversations we will have next year at this time.

That chart definitely looks like a dip incoming. iirc the ascending wedge breaks out in a downward direction by only a small amount, so probably a nice time to buy some more once it does.
Thanks as always @briggsy . I also find it funny that the government is trying to scare people away from crypto, and sadly it's working to some extent. I have trouble getting a serious reaction out of some of my friends that I've tried to talk to about crypto. The shitty part is, most of these friends are the exact type of people who would really adopt it, if not for the difficulty of them overcoming their skepticism about it. I think as it continues to push forward people will begin to realize that it's just the government trying to keep us away from things they can't control.

After quickly testing the $11,000 resistance level a day after hitting $10,000 again, Bitcoin has settled above $11,500 and it looks like $12,000 is now within reach. At the beginning of February, bitcoin went below a daily price of $7,000 now and now it is being stable.
The news of officially legalising bitcoin in Russia, and to some extent in carrying out bitcoin investment in India and South Korea would skyrocket bitcoin's price🙂

Thanks for the great post once again. I think there will be pull back here too. I think the big players are going to let BTC freely swing freely for few weeks to a few months. As a hobby, I like to predict what BTC is going to do in short terms and the short term trading I do is also mostly for fun but for sure I can already see for what is coming long term. (off course it is all hypothesis) :)
