How many people have made enough from crypto to quit their job ? 🤔 💵
There is no shortage of YouTube adverts or videos of people telling you how to 10x or 100x your money and most of the time these people are standing next to super expensive cars, giving the impression they have made a killing from crypto.
Now I know of the people who held Bitcoin or Ethereum from the very early days and they are now millionaires, but how many people since have made enough to actually quit their 9 to 5 and live comfortably?
Have you or do you know any friends or family members who have? If so how how did you do it? Was it from day trading or simply holding something like Ripple and selling it off when it went over $3?
The stories new investors hear when getting into crypto is how it will make you rich and I believe this is why so many fall for schemes such as Bitpetite and Hexabot as the returns promised are life changing.
I personally have made some money, but sadly not nearly enough to even think about escaping the 9 - 5.

I have been in crypto for 15 months and I am a bit obsessed with research. You have to do your own research and find people who are already where you want to be. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the tips. It's much appreciated. I think the hard thing is not getting caught up in the hype coins that are pumped and dumped. Like Tron, Verge, Ripple.
I've only participated in one ICO and that was WAX tokens. I'll have to have a look into some more.
I agree your own research is better than just listening to what the next "hot coin" will be from word of mouth.

I've made a few bucks but sadly not the kind of money that would allow me to quit my day job.
The crazy thing is it only takes holding a few thousand of 1 coin that then takes off to make a difference.
What that coin is though is the million dollar question. I've got a good few Neo. Hopefully one day it will reach Ethereum levels.

Yeah, I guess ICOs are the key if you want to make real money but there are just so many now and 99% will probably end up being worthless. In addition to Steem, I mostly have Gridcoin (because I'm a BOINC user anyway) and JSECoin (mining via putting a script on your web pages vs. advertising intrigued me). So far I haven't really invested anything. Still waiting for some new coin to catch my eye I guess.
Yeah there seems to be about 100 new ICOs everyday and as you say most are utter rubbish and will go nowhere.

I myself wasn't one of the many who used the cryprocurrency explosion to leave my day job I do however have heavy involvement in it now and I do hope to be in the position to do something similar.
