Help me spend 100% of my voting power in one session!
As a Redfish, who can only dream of one day becoming a Minnow, my vote is not worth much. Perhaps $0.03 on it's best day for a 100% upvote. That kind of falls into the "it's really the thought that counts" category in all honesty... I mean, nobody is getting rich off my votes!
That said, I have always made an effort to have my upvotes register as something greater than $0.00. That's tough to do because it means I can place only 10 full upvotes in one day, or 20 at 50%, and then anything less than that may fall into the "dust" category.
I stress a lot over it. I always intend to get to way more people than I actually manage to. I worry if I've offended some key supporter, and I often hold up to 20 people's profiles open in browser tabs for days, hoping to get to them. There are some accounts that I always try to support with 100% upvotes - @petals and @monochromes are two because I try to enter one of their contests each week, and I feel they should be supported. If I enter any theme or photochallenge or any contest, that's another automatic 100% upvote to the host. There are also people who for personal reasons will always get my 100% upvote.
So... what's a poor boy to do? Well, I will be offline for a full week while travelling. That's long enough to regenerate my voting power from ZERO back to FULL. I've never let it go that low. I'm below 70% right now.
I want to make a game of it. I want to go from 100% down to 0% voting power in one session before we leave for our roadtrip next week.
Can you imagine how much fun it will be to blow the whole thing in an hour? So you understand - that's seventy 100% upvotes in an hour. Those votes will stop being worth anything at all about halfway through the session, but still, what fun!
Even this could be stressful... I mean, I know more than seventy people... How should I do this? Get back to me in the comments if you have an idea. I want this to be fun! Maybe a contest of some sort. Or, I could just go down the @pixresteemer page hitting every post with 100% until I hit empty.
How would you burn through all your voting power in one hour??? 100% to 0% in one session!

@keithboone you are having such good and kind gesture.I think you should upvote on good contents that are in your feed and also vote on good comments received.In this way I believe you will use 100% voting power.
You may be right, that's probably the best way. I've always found it hard to live with the constraints of the voting system. It will be fun to vote a whole week away within an hour or less. I bet it takes no time at all - I won't be stopping leave comments - this will be right before hitting the road.
I have the same problem Keith. I’m always below 50 % and feel bad the vote is nil or pittance. I power up as much as possible to help the VP.
But it’s the thought that counts. If I comment on a post, I only feel it’s right to upvote the post. I like people to do the same and don’t mind if their vote is nil, I still appreciate it.

Thank you! I don't think the zero votes are ever really zero. Just displayed that way. I think there is always something like 0.005 or less and the display rounds it down.
Yes, I think that is what happens. I read somewhere on here that one needs 500sp to become a minnow. I’ll stay a Plankton for many moons. 😂 😊
If I have extra, which is never, I upvote the comments on a challenge that I do. I usually upvote all my comments, which is why I am running below 50%, after #MarketFriday, usually about 30%!

Being a redfish (or plankton) is such a difficult place to be, especially in this market. I would just upvote your comments. That should take care of it nicely! Don't stress too much over it. Enjoy your vacation!
I can't do it that way. Voting comments for less than 0.02 is pointless because it gets rounded down to zero. I could vote comments until I'm down to zero power, but most of those votes will be swept up in the dustoff.
That's why you have dustbuster...Let's hope Steem recovers soon. This is pitiful.
Dustbuster would help me receive my dust votes, but it won't help people I vote for unless they subscribe. Unless I'm missing something? I've decided to go down the pixresteemer page until the power gauge hits zero. That's nice and easy.

We're working on the van, getting it loaded. This will be a road tip to Toronto. Long, long drive... something like 4,400 km each way I believe. THREE days just crossing half of Ontario...
It is a long trip. I did it by train from London, Ontario to Vancouver in 4 days then on the way back headed for the East coast which took 9 days and changing trains. I would have loved to do it in an RV.

Comments are an idea. I usually can't afford to upvote comments, because anything less than $0.02 gets rounded down to zero, and the person gets nothing. I always assume that people would rather have a visit to their own page, but maybe not. Thanks Dave :)

I know what you mean. I try not to worry about it. Sometimes it makes me laugh, when I get a 0.2% upvote from someone that has a rep of 30 and no SP at all :) Life is funny.
How about flags from all the little 25 rep accounts? Do you get those? They are all connected to a larger scheme which is intended to steal your keys - that's the endgame.
I got a few. But how can they steal your key?
it's a longer scheme. You will start to see talk about "bots" who do the downvoting, and then talk about a way to defeat the bots... so you will be enticed eventually to visit some site that will "fight off the bots", and that site will require a login etc... Just wait for the entire scheme to play out - some people will fall for it.

There are brainless people with higher reputation than me, and their voting powder have value, but they vote at 0%=0.0000 without a conscience! Those are wasteful souls!!!

The question just occurred to me... how much is my entire full week of voting power worth? I'm probably worrying about how to spend what? A dollar? Maybe less? I really wonder why I do this. I've been active for seven months I guess, and during that time it has taken over my life. I've taken home $30 actual cash money just to prove it could be done.
Oh the headaches this voting system gives us Keith! I try very hard to be fair with my delegation of votes but unless i sat down and tallied everything up mathematically and kept a note of who, how and where to vote I'll never get it right. I admire your diligence and concern to do the right thing and anyone who knows you, will understand this is very much part of your personality. All I can say is, continue to be you, to do your best and bless us with your great talents and all will be well.

Trudee I work as hard as I can to make sure that when I cast a vote, it is $0.01 minimum. Not zero. It's a point of stupid pride with me, and it has been from the beginning. Look at me! Wow!!! My opinion matters! I'm both a mover and a shaker... I set trends... let's face it, the paparazzi follow me as much for my insights on world affairs and the economy as they do for my astonishing good looks! Do you know that a penny, in Canada, is something that you would NOT stoop to the ground to pick up? We did away with the one cent coin a few years ago because they cost more than that to make, and they represented a value too small to care about! All cash transactions are rounded up or down to the nearest nickle.

Admittedly, the insights on world affairs and the ecconomy helped a little too.......and the astonishing good looks were a bonus to be sure, but I'm still waiting for my first glimpse of my very own paparazzi.
