this stone is so big it could be its own mountain!
Must of been quite a hike up there over the many
other boulders. Love the views there looking up
at it and being right next to this cool rock!
Sure don't look like much holding it at bay!

Legend has it that when the Hanging Stone falls, the Sleeping Sayan awakens from the roar, and the End of the World comes ...
Sleeping Sayan, this is a mountain range, resembling the outlines of a sleeping man, if you look closely, you can see his head, nose and hands folded on his chest in the first photo ...
This is what Sleeping Sayan looks like from afar:
It does look like a sleeping man.
You are right, according to legend, this is a sleeping giant named Sayan
Made me think of Ragnarök when the rock falls!

mountain here near Anchorage Alaska :-)
Probably there are similar legends in many countries around the world :)
