I have found the whole concept fascinating as it demonstrates how governments enact laws they truly don’t understand; not talking about Brexit but the concept of the EU itself. Having a conglomeration like this for monetary and trade purposes and bot fiscal, has really never made sense and only led them down this path.

If you consider where Europe was all those decades ago and what has been achieved by collaborative working, I think the EU has been a success by most measures.
No solution is ever perfect and there is still room for improvement.
