The process
Sifting through over 100 accounts to check post and comment history, frequency, and quality would have been a big task for one bot. So why not also check on steemreports to see incoming and outgoing voting patterns and vote diversity to add to the workload? And then tack on extra points for efforts to help others!
I made some considerations to try to spread out the goodness so the winners are (hopefully) not too constrained to any particular social circles.
I said I wanted to give out 20 @kiwibot subscriptions in total, I had failed to actually take into consideration people's preferences when they entered so I'm going to give the allergic people in the top categories 1 more @steembasicincome share. For now I am going to distribute the initial wave of 20 kiwi subscriptions and 80 SBI shares!

Well I am not well versed with anything else so that's just how it is lol and it is a good way to promote shows I enjoyed so I guess it is a win-win situation for me no matter what.
Hah I say that literally, I'm glad you're talking about anything but crypto and that you enjoy writing about it! I've only seen the stuff that's been adopted into the western markets tbh.
I was actually overwhelmed at first due to large number of crypto posts and my little knowledge about it, but I think due to the help of people like you and curator guilds other types of articles are slowly getting attention as of late.
Yeah the industry is still not getting too much exposure outside of Japan but they are slowly getting out there (legally anyway lol).
Yeah if we want to get more than what, all 5 of the people who actually want to read only crypto related things 24/7 to get involved then we have to start appealing to other stuff. It's a good thing that some of the curation efforts exist.
Speaking of that, have you seen this?
Gotta hand it to those guys, they are really doing a big favor for a lot of content creators here by giving them chance in the spotlight.
I have seen a lot of recommendations and positive remarks for the show but I have yet to see it, it is comfortably sitting in my watch list that is getting longer every passing day lol. It is one of the classics if I'm right so I might pay my respect when I have more free time to spare.

This being the internet and a place where people can mostly speak freely, there is going to be plenty of retardation floating around.
I write in some topics that can easily border on the crazy side of things and can stray into conspiracy land. I don't think it is too much of a stretch to say the wealthy and powerful in the governments and media are dishonest and often work against our interests but I do think things get pretty silly when people start claiming that this is due to lizzard people, secret societies, or what have you lol.
