If Not Crypto... Where To Invest My Money?

What would I be doing?

What If I wasn't investing in crypto startups... what would I be doing with my money?

This is a question that I've been asking myself for the last couple of days... What would I be doing? Would I be buying stuff for my own amusement, material things that will sooner or later vanish and become just one more memory? Would I be traveling the world? Sightseeing, animals, landscapes, experiencing different cultures, different religions, would I be doing this?

This is a hard question to ask myself... mainly because my whole mentality changed a lot in the year before I started investing and changed even more after I started buying crypto. I now know how stupid it is to keep non-rainy day cash in the bank, it makes no sense to hodl something that loses value year after year, to hodl something that the banks can create with fractional reserve banking and inflation. Makes no sense...

And now, after being involved in the crypto world so much, I realize how many opportunities small investors have that the big banks and media say nothing about! Let's start with ...

Seedinvesting/lending!

Lending our money to startups or people in need of some funding is a great way to make some profit, especially if the company through which we lend our money vetos the companies and we are promised a return in x time!

Seedinvesting is a website where I can invest in startups! It's amazing, with a minimum balance of 200$ we can be part of a future company from the ground up! And they even veto the startups the best they can.

Of course, this isn't the only website/company doing this, many more are doing similar stuff and are great ways to get some profits out of our money, always do your research!

Real estate

Something that was hard before now it's easy! The days where one would need to save a lot of money to start investing in real estate are now gone. With REITs, and fundraising companies like Cardone Capital one only needs to save as little as 500$ to get some exposure to the real estate market! Of course... always do your own research!

Stock Market

This one is a little harder in my opinion, while in the US there are many apps that allow people to invest in the stock market in the EU there aren't that many... The only one I know that is good and affordable is Degiro, if I went through a bank I would be paying high fees while with Degiro the fees are really small.
Still... the app looks ugly.

If I was going to invest in the stock market I would probably go into some vanguard dividend ETF since dividend stocks are, in my honest opinion, the only ones that deserve some look at. Of course... always do your own research!

Copy-Trading

Etoro has a real cool copy-trading function where we can copy traders with a high success rate, I've never used it but I've heard good things about it... Of course, one can also lose money, but hey, nothing ever happens without risk! And there are some good traders with a track record going back almost to the start of the app, these are the ones that deserve some look at, not the ones that have 5000% profit in a couple of weeks, those are risky investments that could have turned out to be some really bad losers.

Of course... Always do your own Research!

Starting my own business?

This one is a little harder. While the other ones didn't require any effort other than investing the money and some quick research that anyone can do in a couple of hours, starting a business like a Shopify store requires hours upon hours of hard work, hours turn into days, days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, research, connections, emails, trying out different adds, differents settings, etc...etc... it's a royal pain in the a#*.

Of course, out of all the previous ones, this is the one where you have the most control over the final product, it's your store after all, your baby, if your baby turns out to be a dumbass that lives with you until he is 40 without bringing any revenue home it's your own fault.

These are some of the things I would probably be doing with my money if crypto wasn't around and I had the same mentality I have. Of course, I would always do my own research, maybe these aren't the best companies and there might be better companies out there trough which to invest.
