MorkRock’s Steemstagram - Cannabis Expo
This past weekend we decided to pop into South Africa’s first ever Cannabis expo. Now that the weed is pretty much legal, in so much that you are allowed to have it in your personal capacity, and also grow it personally. It’s still against the law to sell it.
Well there was not any actual cannabis at the expo, mostly just CBD products and growing products like plant soils, irrigation, lighting, grow tents etc, and loads of very stoned people who where only able to smoke their green outside in the parking lot.
Luckily I did scored some seeds from a guy I bought a tiny bag of soil from, he can’t sell it so you get it for free if you buy the soil.
Looks like this is going to become a massive industry in the near future here by the looks of what’s going down in the US and Europe.

My partner Dave really wanted to attend that expo as he is really interested in exploring cannabis oil, but could not make it in the end. Was it worth the visit? (Aside from scoring the seeds I mean lol)
I would say it was worth the visit, up until recently it's been almost impossible to find local resources of folks in the industry, that alone was great. I think we will start seeing a lot more local people pop up in the next few months. Thanks for the comment!!
