圣母院
这是一座拥有浓厚历史气息的建筑！在她的身上发生过很多的历史故事。
如简介标牌(下图)所说，它拥有一百多年历史，当初是由西班牙传教士设计监造，曾经是天主教堂的附属建筑。
历史上她的用途多数是用于慈善，新中国成立之前她还是一所教会医院。新中国成立以后，医院被芜湖市政府接管，在此基础上组建成芜湖市第一人民医院。
前年，芜湖一院搬到新址，她才被停止使用。虽然这么多年她一直被芜湖一院使用，可是她的算有权却是归属芜湖市文物局。
旁边比较新的是主教楼。
芜湖一院搬走之后，主教楼又被出租，继续发挥作用。
现在的主教楼和圣母楼已经和天主教堂没有多少关系了！
