Color Challenge - Sunday Purple - Two Clematis

One of the things I love about clematis plants is that there are so many different varieties and colours there is something for everyone from the beginning of spring until early autumn.

I photographed these two purple varieties at our local garden centre but I'm pretty sure that the next time I go there there will be no more.
I shall miss my Sunday afternoon trips to the garden centre which will, now that summer is coming to an end, be far less frequent.
I shall also miss my relaxing hours on the beach.

Oh those will gonna go soon yeah..enjoy while you can. An umbrella by the beach Gillian? Is it windy usually?
It depends on the day @immarojas. We tend to only take the umbrella if we have the grandchildren with us and we try and find a sandy patch to bash the pike in.
We've never had a day when it was so windy we wouldn't use it but then, if it was that bad, I don't suppose it would be warm enough to be there anyway.
There have been a couple of occasions when we've had to catch it when it got loose before it blew down the beach. 😂
I love clematis too, I will miss sitting on my porch enjoying all the flowers and the creatures that love to come to my yard.
So you have any winter flowering plants @sunscape. We saw some lovely pansies in the garden centre a few weeks ago. I'm quite tempted to go and buy some to replace the summer plants that have definitely finished now.
Oh no, I am happy when fall arrives and I can take a break from gardening outside. I switch to my houseplants and focus on them instead.....lol I do bring in a few each year to winter over. I have been cutting back and cleaning gardens all week now. Hanging baskets are all done and annuals too. Time to go into cave mode .... oh yeah.
Wow. That's impressive @sunscape. I think I went inside too soon and have been busy cleaning my attic now it's cool enough to go up there most days.
The hay baskets are definitely looking pretty straggly. Maybe I'll get round to them this week. 😊
Fun, I wish I had an attic, I used to love playing in ours when I was a little girl. This house does not have one or a basement either...lol.
