I like to think that I do write good content. Nothing earthshattering, but good.
This contest is mostly because I don't want the slot to go to waste and my brain is too mushy to think of which of the people I follow to give it to.
I put in the random number generator bit because it will give minnows and redfish an equal chance, even if they haven't made many posts yet. Also, it's less subjective than picking my favorite comment, or username, or blog article I have really got myself a backlog of good content to read through already.
So that's the reasons for the contest. I'm not asking for followers. If people like my stuff then I would like them to follow, if they don't then they can ignore me or mute me to their hearts content. The upvotes will happen even if they mute me.
