Was fancy trying out a different imgage hosting provider anyway; thx a lot (especially after steemit doesn't keep the original size / source file!?)
Are images also rewarded with tokens (if uploaded via the client)?

@phasewalker thanks much, since I found it I think its something many others would benefit from it too.
I think they strip the exif location data but did not know it does anything else. I have not uploaded directly with steemit in awhile.
Yes, with their app LBRY like you said. People can send you tokens for your content you upload.. it's like bit tube. You can upload and publish. Though for others to see they have to use the LBRY app too.
Though with Spee.ch they do not seem to offer tipping.
