Due to excessive amount of toxins in the environment, our body gets easily overwhelmed. To keep our body fresh, detoxification is a must. Below I have listed a bunch of food items that would help you to naturally detox your body without much effort.

Apples
There is an old saying “an apple daily keeps the doctor away”- which is very true. The fiber pectin in apple cleanses metal and food additives that your body had accumulated throughout the years.

Asparagus
Apart from being a great way to reduce hangover and stress, asparagus also helps to drain toxins from liver.

Walnuts
Walnuts are widely known as brain-helping food. But they are also rich in acid arginine and in-taking few walnuts daily will assist the liver to detox harmful ammonia as well as glutathione.

Turmeric
Turmeric being an ayurvedic “holy grail” helps to heal many health ailments which also include detoxifying the body. Curcumin, an active ingredient in turmeric helps to clean liver and treat troubled digestive system.

Pineapples

One thing I would need to add up to this wonderful article is the need to find organic sources of apples, asparagus, walnuts, tumeric and pineapple. Apples, especially, seemed to have been plagued with insecticides and all kinds of chemicals greatly detrimental to our health.

In addition to the foods you mention, there are others such as: garlic, lemon onion, ginger and green tea, to name a few, we just have to learn to combine them and incorporate them into our daily diet.
