I found tournament in steemmonster under "completed".
By me stands Entry 0.001 STEEM, ok it's really not much I think :-)
So in this case it was not the reason the entrance fee but I just don't look after this tournament.
Because: What chances I would have their ?
I have the fire summoner at level 3 and let's say a fire team with whom I think maybe I can play silver also if my limits are than 4/3/2/2 and silver is 5/4/3/2, so I'm just one level behind. But what about gold - completely no chance.
And if I cannot play fire I have only novice teams.
So I think I decided not to play (and to save this 0.001 STEEM xDDD)

Did you know that you can get an upvote for your post with steemmonsters?
You have to go to discord ( if you have) and to steemmonsters server, there is an upvote bot. But you have to have your main tag as steemmonsters
No I don't know till now.
With the main tag would be possible - why not ?

I mean to do a lot just to get small upvote is maybe waist of time.
I do not know how large it would be. I could find out if I had my main pc up and running, but right now I am on a laptop that sucks, and cant do more than one thing at a time :-)
I am a maveric ( bought more than 500 beta packs) so I get a 45% upvote from steemmonsters ( equals to about $2)
I do not know how large upvote you will get, but I think it is worth looking into
