No good they put you and others through so much hardship. Hope they go down for there bad behavior. I lost a business venture back in my early 20s it sux but I just had to move on with life and learn from it.

The biggest learning experiences usually come at a high cost. It took me a number of years to regain my confidence, and obviously from this rant the bitterness has remained. The dumbest part is that bad business practices are almost always unsustainable. Their model was very short sighted and bound to inevitably fail. Just a pity they are bringing many good people down with them.

Yup, I'm usually a fairly capitalist, free market, small government type but this sort of behavior definitely highlights the downsides of that system.

Yes, they are the main reason, plus my own failings as a business owner. The other reason is that when my business did fail, I was too proud and stubborn to declare bankruptcy. If I had done that, I would have had an easier path to recovery. But I chose not to, and faced up to my debts instead of running away from them. 10 years later I am still paying those debts, but with a small amount of my pride intact.
