Can you see it? [Drop in the Ocean - Perspective]

I can't draw in perspective and I can't seem to force a perspective. So many different ways of looking at something yet somehow a person seems to end up blind to what is right in front of them.

As for drawing sure, I could be using a ruler and fancy shit but I can't seem to replicate that by hand. I won't ponder too much on this since I have tried it maybe more than once but definitely less than 10 times.

As for perspective and my everyday life, well I have lots when I am the outsider, seeing all the possible angles, what should be done and what should not.

I am mostly concerned with what should be done but do spend my fair share on what should not have been done. I can't say that at the moment I won't do it again but if I do I will be sure to fuck up a little bit differently.

Unlimited lenses.

We gain perspective because it is not something we could personally have experienced, each line of sight is unique to the person or situation. What you do with that is to either treat them as un-related looking for reasons why they are not similar or you try to relate them by finding the "Vanishing Point".

The vanishing point is the point of a problem or the culmination of efforts will be where all the perspectives meet. If I think about normal drawings they all have straight lines and it is quite a simple matter of following them to this point and you will most likely find the number 42 there because why the fuck not.

Facades.

Looking from the outside in, sure it seems like you know all the answers, a regular Stephen Hawking doing doughnuts in your wheelchair. The closer you are to the let's use problem because I am in a pretty sulky bloody mood.

The closer you are to the problem the more narrow your range is, and actually, I skimmed @lymepoets post earlier she says it nicely with her analogy so I am not really going to keep fucking about on this train. Time to blow shit up.

For example, yes let's do some examples of perspective maybe just one.

If you are looking down at someone they will seem small to you, you will change the way you act towards them as a person, most people see this as a good time to show dominance, some do it and then want to pet you.

Then you should take your little Chihuahua ass a few steps back get a nice run-up and jump, latch those tiny little teeth onto their nutsack and make then come to meet you down there where you can both have a nice biscuit and water while you share your perspective with them.

You might feel you are doing right by taking away time from one thing in your life and focusing on something that at that moment looks like it requires the extra attention. From your view, you are doing what you should, and for the sake of this shitty example, we will say you are taking time away from someone, or even just taking time away from yourself.

The thing you are giving your time to has become your new focus and it is called that because the rest becomes a blur. They keep moving you just don't perceive them as well and when you are done doing what you so urgently needed to do, things will have changed.

When you don't take the time to be a pretentious dick at an art gallery walking up and down, standing on a stool to view it from above - cleavage, lying on the ground to look at the lady next to him nickers. If you are not constantly considering not just your own perspective and the alternative few you can conjure up, but also those affected by your actions, including yourself.

Then you have no perspective since your own view is only one single little line in a sea of lines that need to meet.
