Remember Dtube is decentralised video sharing platform.. I can imagine that many many applications can be built within Dtube in the future as the traffic increases.
It can become the Next decentralised Udemy,Tinder, AirBnb,Netflix,snapchat,instagram and so on
I certainly not see Dtube as a clone of YT. Building foundation and community is the key and we're extreme early adopters and for entrepreneurs and Investors will come on board at the right time.
I'm happy to see DtubeSnap bringing everyone to Dtube and Dtube has to be for everyone. Every single day I think about so many ideas but we need certain number of users to experiment certain ideas!

So how would other applications be built within @dtube . I know that is possible through @steemit but it never occurred to me that @dtube could be utilized the same way.

It is open source ;) https://github.com/dtube/dtube everyone can give input and even join the dev-team if the code for a pull-request is good enough
