Solominer's Spooky Stories: When the wall knocks back

in #dtube5 years ago (edited)

During the month of October, I plan to release short videos telling real stories of interesting experiences, types of events my friends and myself cannot explain.

The first spooky story I want to share is about my friend @ibt. You may have seen his posts on his profile along with posts ive made on mine about him. He is a skilled carpenter and handyman occasionally for me.

One day he was installing shelves in the other room. Hes checking for studs in the wall so he can secure the shelves to. And while checking for these studs he knocks on the wall, listening for the sound hes expecting when a stud is behind the wall. At one point while he is knocking, he gets a knock back.

Strangely there is no one behind that wall, and cannot be anyone as its concrete and back filled soil. No one was around him at the time and we were all accounted for.

He was so bothered by it, he stopped working for an hour to get his nerves back. After wards he did not hear any more knocking. Just that one time, and it was enough to scare him quite a bit.

If the video has trouble playing, please use my IPFS Gateway instead of D.tube's by following this link

I hate and I love to read such stories... the worst thing is that they easily stays in my mind and memory for long. Interesting post... scary stuff.

@photovisions it is one of those things cool to experience but at the time it can be pretty terrifying. Thanks much...

Love these video blogs from you man! I was just wondering if you were going to do it again. I had a very similar situation while remodeling a house. It was a sunny day and the house was extremely well lit I went downstairs to get some tools and when I can back I looked up the stairs to see a dark mist at the top of the stairs. Sacred me I ran out but had to come back to finish the job. A few friends of mine came back a few nights later to do an EVP and caught some interesting voices. Still creeps me out

@balticbadger it has been awhile, been busy out at state parks. But I plan on doing more especially as we get into winter. Oh sounds kind of like a shadow person but made of mist instead. I had an experience with one of those as well, planning on talking about it soon.

Oh if you still have those EVPs maybe they are worth making a post about. I got a recorder but have not picked up anything interesting yet.

Hope you can use the #truestories tag for these things. I visit a lot of old buildings but other than dripping water that can scare the crap out of you, I haven't encountered the paranormal yet.

@slobberchops oh cool, I'll use that tag on my next spooky story post. Thanks for the tip. Hehe yeah, I watch alot of urban exploring videos. Like the proper people and they hear weird noises in abandoned places but usually it's the wind or something that can be explained.

Wind and dripping water can scare the crap out of you. Happens all the time, and these places are usually deathly quiet. Any noise and you think there's someone inside.. rarely it's the case.
