Morphing Into Spirit Form To Promote Peace - A Chill Drum Cover Of Sia's Helium To Lift People Up!
For anyone feeling drained from recent Steem stress, I sat down on my kit to try to brighten the atmosphere and lift some people up (literally). Ongoing debates, drama and negativity take their toll, so here's a chance to step back and listen to a positive message as a potential reset button.
To be honest, the lighting also concealed my bad hair day, so it was a win-win.
The main point here is that we should lift each other up when we're down. Our community has to stay together and be respectful to each other to succeed in the long run.
I'm usually a heavy drummer, so I toned it down here, despite converting the song into somewhat of a rock ballad. Sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone to get the job done.
For any sticklers out there, I botched the last high hat kick because my trigger's sensor glitched, so forgive the error.

Music is great to lift up the mood :-) I'm untrained in drums so I could listen to it without judgement - I wiggled my toe so it must have been good :D
I've never really learned how to play an instrument very well except for the rare classes of flute and piano - Drum or maybe more general 'percussion' is the one thing that I would love to learn.
As long as you didn't fall asleep, this is a huge victory. A toe wiggle on top of that is a victory beyond measure. I'm forever indebted for as many drum lessons you'd like.
Wonders what she would have been offered if she had moved her head as well.
