Terrorocracy Cometh

What is this place?

It is difficult to recognize the world today. Nothing is as it appeared to be half a century ago. The bastions of classical liberalism - the most important of which is free speech - have crumbled under the onslaught of the oligarchs and plutocrats. The law itself, intended to protect the people, has been perverted to destroy the inalienable rights and freedoms of the people. The government, meant to serve, has become a tool of plutocrats bred to dominate, deceive and destroy.

The definition of 'terrorism' has come to have disturbing similarities with the definition of 'government' in many respects. The law is now being actively formulated and applied to intimidate and coerce people to abandon their rights and, if that fails, used to initiate violence against those who insist upon them. When that is compared with the definition of 'terrorism', the similarities become inescapable:

ter•ror•ism [ ter- uh-riz- uhm] NOUN

  1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.
  2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.
  3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

Based on the first part of this definition, it is virtually impossible to distinguish between government and terrorism these days. When people are silenced for exercising free speech that informs and does not harm or incite, it may be legal, but it is not just, ethical or moral. When the courts disregard justice in pursuit of the law, that is the definition of coercion for political purposes. Coercion for political purposes is de facto terrorism.

When a government relies on force to silence peaceful dissent, regardless of any "judicial" rationalization of events, it can and does transform that government into, for lack of a better term, a terrorocracy.

The next logical step on the road to utter and unconscionable tyranny is to track, catalog and make a list of those who would use free speech to inform the masses of the criminal and unethical behavior of plutocrats and their lackeys in government. First it starts with identifying and persecuting whistleblowers (Snowden, Manning etc.) and then moves on to the general public that tries to raise awareness.

As was recently revealed, government has now determined it is necessary to track and make a list of all individuals who are "influential" on Social Media. From journalists to bloggers and even just people who comment, this list is being compiled now. Absurdly, even I, with my meager 800 followers will be on that list, as well as anyone associated with or commenting on posts from the @informationwar. Let that sink in.

Lists aren't made to not be used. The next step is likely to use that list to silence those opposed to whatever narrative it is that the plutocrats want people to believe. The goal is to silence, via threat, force, censorship or under color of law those who would use logic, reason and ethical standards to counteract the propaganda narratives of the predatory corporate plutocrat media, and it is knocking at the door.

Terrorocracy cometh.

The problem is not that government is becoming terrorist. The problem is that government is inherently terrorist. It is organized crime on a massive scale, and the veneer of legitimacy they craft through various propaganda methods is beginning to tear away. Partisan bickering blinds the majority to one part or another of the terrorism, cloaking it in a counterfeit virtue, but that can only last so long.

Very well done once again, cupidzero.
I would only note that what is being enforced in first world countries is consumerism and usurious economics. We are pretty well free to say and do anything as long as we buy into this system. The mass profiling outcome was best predicted in Minority Report in that regard.

I agree that the monetary system and its sustenance is the lever of oppressive power. While the States are still doing rather well in terms of free speech, the EU & UK are quickly crumbling. Those targeted most viciously are those who depart from the narrative of the unelected bureaucrats. A good place to keep abreast of what is going on in the EU is https://voiceofeurope.com/.

Minority Report was, in my opinion, an exercise in predictive programming. The expert systems to predict crime are already up and running. People have had their doors knocked on and been warned by the police because the computer said they were a risk. It is getting seriously creepy.

I don't think anyone born in the last 30 years realises what freedom used to look like. We did pretty well have the freedom to say as we pleased. In recent years there have been more and more restraints placed on our freedom of speech and indeed the right to protest.
Take the Count Dankula case for example. Whether you think it was funny or not, considering the context, it certainly did not constitute hate speech.
First they came for the comedians........

I talk with young people regularly, and they can't imagine many of the things that were completely normal many years ago. It is a strange blend of coddling, paranoia and political correctness that has gone completely overboard.

Dankula is a great example, but far from the only one. In the EU right now censorship and political persecution of anything remotely non-establishment narrative is swiftly punished. Just look at the Robinson fiasco, a travesty of justice.

It is 2018. Many voters this year have no recollection of a pre-9/11 world. Gate rape and porno-scanners for the airport are the norm. Passports to see Canada and Mexico are stats quo. Perpetual war is just the way things are.

It is instructive to research the word terrorism, and see that it was coined to refer to government, specifically France, during the revolution. Terrorism is a form of government by definition, not what revisionists have attempted (successfully) to redefine it as.

@jacobtothe is quite correct. Government is inherently terrorist.

Thanks!
